OC Systems Wins Lockheed Martin STAR Supplier Award
Fairfax, VA (May 7, 2004)—OC Systems, Inc. has received the
STAR Supplier - Best in Class Product Award from Lockheed Martin, designating the company as one of the top-performing suppliers to Lockheed Martin.
The prestigious award is made only to Lockheed Martin suppliers who distinguish themselves by meeting some of the most stringent performance criteria in the industry. To join this elite group of STAR Suppliers, OC Systems achieved 100% quality and 100% delivery for all products provided to Lockheed Martin for a minimum of one year. Additionally, OC Systems met the established criteria for Lockheed Martin’s Supplier Performance Evaluation metric that evaluates quality, delivery, affordability, and management/administration.
Lockheed Martin STAR Suppliers are provided visibility across Lockheed Martin Corporation. This results in increased opportunity for more business and consideration for reduction of Lockheed Martin oversight at the supplier level.
Lockheed Martin and its customers likewise share benefits in higher supplier product quality, improved delivery performance, and associated cost savings.
