RootCause Transaction Monitoring (RTI)

Measure Transactions all the Way to the End-user

Tracking down performance problems is time-consuming, frustrating and expensive. To get the information needed to resolve problems, it is important to trace and fully decompose transactions from end to end, including actions that are initiated within the browser.

RootCause Transaction Instrumentation (RTI) is a family of products that provides the most accurate measurement of response time. The RTI products have been designed to be simple to install and easy to use, and support developers, testers and operations.

There are currently two RTI products available: RTI for Internet Explorer, which provides response time measurements for browser-based transactions; and RTI for ITCAM, which extends IBM's ITCAM RTT product for monitoring past the edge of the enterprise, to the end-user.

We continue to extend the RTI product line to encompass more components of a system, while remaining easy to install and use. If you're interested in learning about the other RTI products currently in development, please contact us:

Ready for Tivoli
RTI for Internet Explorer has received the IBM Ready for Tivoli validation and is listed in the IBM Open Process Automation Library (OPAL).
