Please see the Users Guide for more detailed information. +---------------------------------------------------------------+ | Section 3: Quick Start | +---------------------------------------------------------------+ RTI for IE is designed to be used quickly out of the box with no customizations needed. Installations Steps 1. Shutdown any Internet Explorer processes that may currently be running. 2. Begin by running the self-extracting zip file, RTI_IE.exe 3. Choose a location to install RTI for IE 4. When prompted to select an ARM library to use, select the OC Systems? ARM Library. This option is described in more detail under Use the OC Systems? ARM Library 5. When asked if you would like to enable Response Time Instrumentation for Internet Explorer select ?Yes?. 6. Select next again. RTI for IE is now installed and enabled. 7. Start Internet Explorer and surf to a few different sites. 8. To see the collected response time data launch the RTI Analyzer (RTIA) which is accessible through Start->All Programs->RTI for Internet Explorer->RTI Analyzer. The Analyzer shows Start, Stop, Elapsed times and Status for all transactions. 9. Response-time measurements for each navigation made in step #7 should be displayed in the GUI. Refresh the latest data in RTIA at anytime by using the Refresh button.
